Rai is our project health & safety
specialist who works with local businesses & multi-national
companies throughout the UK, Europe and the Far East.
Himmat began his professional career as an Environmental
Health Officer in 1988, with responsibility to enforce
the law in a diverse range of businesses. Since 1997,
however, he has worked as a consultant in the private
sector, gaining extensive experience in working with
major companies throughout the UK and internationally,
including Marks & Spencer, Müller Dairy and
Pizza Hut. He is a Chartered Occupational Safety and
Health Practitioner, and having started his career in
the public sector, he continues to work as a consultant
to the NHS and local authorities. Himmat is the author
of "Food Emergencies - A Practical Approach to Prevention
and Control", has also written articles published by
UK and International publications, and is regularly
asked to speak at events & conferences. His extensive
expertise is regularly called upon by instructing solicitors
in his role as an Expert Witness with respect to both
criminal and civil matters.
